Tom Rowley is an award-winning journalist and writer. Currently Britain Correspondent at The Economist, he has also written front-page stories for The Washington Post, The Daily Telegraph and the Telegraph Magazine. He was named Young Journalist of the Year at the British Press Awards for 2015 and is a former Laurence Stern Fellow. He has reported from 29 countries and territories — from South Sudan to Tokelau, a tiny South Pacific atoll — 17 American states and every corner of the British Isles, covering everything from famines and terrorist attacks to the funeral of the last King of Yugoslavia, 43 years after his death. He is a regular analyst of current affairs, most recently on BBC Radio 2, LBC and The Intelligence podcast.
