Brian Schofield
Brian Schofield is a former travel writer and literary critic for the Sunday Times and is currently a History and Politics teacher at Hurstpierpoint College in West Sussex. He has previously written literary non-fiction, and his debut book, Selling Your Father's Bones, was published by HarperCollins and shortlisted for the 2008 John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. He now writes middle-grade adventure fiction based on real historical events. His debut novel for children, Defiance, follows the remarkable true story of three boys from 1940's Hamburg who stood together against the Nazi regime. Brian lives in Lewes, East Sussex, with his wife and two sons.
