Clifford is a writer and award nominated actor. Several of his writing projects are being developed for the stage, including the National theatre and for the screen. He has since founded Viator Productions.

Clifford was raised in North London and of Nigerian heritage. Before he began writing he trained as an actor and graduated early to perform at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has performed leading roles including the National theatre, West End, BBC, Netflix and feature films. He continues to work mainly on screen as an actor. 

As a children’s author his publications include How Tortoise Tricked the Birds (Usborne Publishing) which was well received. His next book, Tortoise and The Tug of War (Usborne Publishing) is being developed and soon to be released. He is developing more exciting children’s books and keen to tell more stories based around Nigerian folktales.
